Two versions of the Story exercise in each Word Warm-ups Live section are available. You can assign the student the easier or more challenging version:
- By default, students read the more challenging story. The more challenging version has 130-210 words and the sentences are longer and more complex than those in the easier version.
- The easier version has no more than 90 words and the sentences are shorter and simpler than those in the more challenging version.
To choose which story version a student completes:
- In the student module, click the Teacher button in the page header.
- In the dialog that opens, enter your User ID and Password and click Log in.
- Select Change Exercise Options.
- Under Story version, select Easier or More challenging.
- Click Save.
