Read Naturally Live: Keeping Students Challenged

Read Naturally GATE+

Read Naturally GATE+ supports reading achievement by combining the research-proven strategies of teacher modeling, repeated reading, and progress monitoring. This webinar introduces educators to Read Naturally GATE+, an interactive program that uses explicit, systematic instruction to teach phonemic awareness and phonics, develop fluency, master high frequency words, and provide support for vocabulary and comprehension. The carefully scripted lessons in GATE+ are appropriate for use with small groups or for whole class instruction. The presenter walks through the program steps to show how this direct instruction model improves students’ skills in the areas of phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

One Minute Reader Live: A Summer Solution

More students than ever are struggling with reading. Schools and families do not have more resources to address this growing issue, and summer is approaching. One Minute Reader Live, a component of Read Live, can help. It focuses on fluency and comprehension with support for vocabulary. One Minute Reader Live levels include first through mid-fifth grade reading levels. This motivating, independent program is structured to provide developing readers the support and engagement needed to catch up to their peers, without direct assistance from a teacher or parent.
