Read Naturally and the Common Core Standards

Ideally, the classroom's core reading program addresses the standards.  However, no core reading program meets the needs of all students in a classroom, so students often need additional support in specific skills in order to meet the standards.  And, some students need intervention programs to accelerate their learning in specific skills in order to meet the grade-level expectations. 

Read Naturally programs are well-suited as common core curriculum and are aligned with the expectations for Foundational Reading Skills  and many Reading Anchor Standards for English Language Arts (ELA).

Intervention programs focus on the development of skills—from introduction through mastery—providing instruction with a broad instructional range not limited by grade-level.
