Read Live v1.1: Release notes

Read Live version 1.1 includes improvements requested by our customers and fixes for problems discovered after Read Live was first released. Some of the changes in this version include the following:

• A program helper role has been added. Schools now have the ability to assign user IDs to parents and volunteers so they can perform timings with students, while blocking them from seeing who else is enrolled in the program. This enables customers to protect the privacy of their students while allowing parents to do timings at home.
• The phonics word lists are now included in the printed stories.
• The online help has been improved and includes easier access to the training videos.
• The Wordtastic 1.0 and 1.5 questions have been re-leveled. Some teachers reported that some questions on Wordtastic levels 1.0 and 1.5 were too hard for their students. We have removed those questions that were deemed too difficult.
• Staff member passwords can now be reset. Instructions for resetting staff member passwords are in the Read Live User Guide (page 23 of the PDF document).
• Performance has been improved.
• Miscellaneous fixes have been applied to the Student and Teacher modules.
