What's New in This Release

​Read Live version 3.21 includes significant revisions to existing Word Warm-ups Live content.

Summary of changes

• Content throughout Word Warm-ups Live has been revised and enhanced. Changes include the following.
  • Audio lessons, images, and audio files across Word Warm-ups Live content have been updated for consistency and educational efficacy. 
  • Word lists in Levels 1 and 2 now use the decoding feature introduced with Level 3's content. Animations help students decode the constituent sounds of each word.
  • The Story exercise in each Word Warm-ups Live section is now available in a second, easier version alongside the existing, more challenging one.
    • The easier version includes no more than 90 words. Its sentences are shorter and simpler than those in the more challenging version. 
    • The more challenging version has 130-210 words. Its sentences are longer and more complex than those in the easier version.
    • Existing students as of this release continue to work in the more challenging Story exercises. New students assigned to Word Warm-ups Live will also be assigned to these stories by default.
    • To change the Story exercise version a student sees, open the Teacher Menu and choose an option from the Story version dropdown.
