Congratulations to Star Student Chase A. from Pawcatuck, CT! Chase is a seventh-grade student at Pawcatuck Middle School. Chase’s teacher, Elaine Temel, had this to say about him:
I think Chase should be chosen as the Star of the Month because he exemplifies success and the reward of hard work! Chase began working in Read Naturally Live this September. Each day that he works on the program, he is focused and dedicated to doing his best. As a result of hard work, Chase has improved his words-correct-per-minute (WCPM) from his cold timing to his hot timing with an increase of 43 words correct per minute! Chase is reading with expression and improving his comprehension as well. With continued hard work and dedicated effort, I know Chase will continue to see positive results. Great work, Chase!
