Congrats to Jayleigh, our November Star of the Month! Jayleigh is a 4th grader at Foster Dual Language School in Arvada, CO, who has made exceptional gains in just a short time using Read Naturally! Here is what her teacher, Ms. Huebner, wrote about her:

Jayleigh is a caring and hardworking 4th grader who enjoys playing sports and spending time outdoors with her friends. During 3rd grade, she started participating in a small reading group with the Read Naturally program. When she began, she was learning her letters and letter sounds. She was significantly below grade level. Now, she is reading at a second-grade level and can read 100 words per minute! She is passionate about learning to read. She always comes to the group with a positive attitude, and she is excited to see that she is exceeding her initial goals. She is also helping other students who are struggling readers and new to America as she attends a bilingual school and most of her peers' first language is Spanish. She is a hard worker with a great attitude. She truly deserves recognition as the Star of the Month for Read Naturally!
