We're approaching the end of another challenging school year. Your students have worked hard to accelerate their progress in reading, despite learning disruptions due to the pandemic. As you know, they can't afford anymore setbacks in their reading. Avoiding the summer slide is more important than ever.

Teacher Appreciation Week officially begins next week. Let's kick it off a little early with a bunch of free resources for you. These resources include vocabulary exercises, cue cards to help emerging readers with visually confusing letters, a system for mastering the most frequently misspelled words, and more--all free!

Are you looking for ways to enhance your skills as a Read Naturally educator? Will the holiday break finally give you a few extra minutes to focus on this? Allow our stellar training team to help! We've recently conducted several webinars aimed to help educators work as effectively as possible with their students. Because educators are often too busy to attend our webinars in real time, we offer recordings you can view at your convenience. These recordings are available to you for free--and the holiday break is the perfect time to check them out.

Read Live includes four highly effective instructional programs designed to deliver measurable results for struggling and developing readers of all ages. We recently recorded five new webinars, providing an overview of Read Live as well as the basics for each of the four programs: Read Naturally Live, Word Warm-ups Live, One Minute Reader Live, and Read Naturally Live—Español. Check out these 30-minute presentations for a better understanding of Read Live and additional details on each of the four instructional programs.

In these uncertain times, students everywhere will benefit from familiarity and consistency. We are so grateful that our most popular program, Read Live, can be used in a distance-learning model to provide this kind of support.

At Read Naturally, we believe all educators should have access to free, high-quality training in our programs—and in reading instruction in general. This is why we offer several free webinars every year, covering a range of topics from fluency research to specific program tips. Educators are invited to be live participants at these webinars as they occur; otherwise, recordings can be accessed anytime in the Knowledgebase section of our website.

This winter, we’re traveling to reading and education conferences in all parts of the nation with one goal in mind: meeting you! Chances are high we’ll be coming to a city near you very soon. Check our schedule here to find out.

If you want to get the most from your Read Naturally Live program and receive continuing education credits in the process, don’t miss the chance to attend one of our Read Naturally Live Hands-On Training and Strategy Workshops. This training will help you take advantage of Read Naturally Live’s many features and ensure the program is working well for all students.

At Read Naturally, we value educating teachers as much as we value educating students. In order for struggling readers to become fluent readers, teachers must learn the best ways to support these students. We believe all teachers should have access to this information, which is why we offer a variety of teacher training resources free of charge.

May’s “Appy Hour” presentation marked the final webinar in our free series for this year. Thank you to everyone who attended! We were thrilled to offer relevant information and resources to fellow educators, and we enjoyed getting to know you on the other side of the screen. Did you miss one of our live presentations? Not to worry! We have recordings of each webinar available for free on our website.
