National Center on Intensive Intervention content experts reviewed and published Read Naturally’s Taxonomy Brief on Read Naturally Live to help educators examine the extent to which the program incorporates the seven dimensions of a quality intensive reading program. Intervention Taxonomy Brief: Read Naturally Live is available on NCII’s website.

Read Naturally Live recently added the option for students to record themselves during hot timings. This way, if a student is ready for the hot timing but a teacher is unavailable, the student can do a recording that the teacher evaluates and scores at a later time. This option is particularly beneficial in distance-learning situations when a teacher cannot always be present for the student’s hot timing.

Aiden K. is our November Star of the Month. He is a fourth-grader at Tri County Public Schools, in DeWitt, Nebraska. Aiden’s teacher, Ms. Fehringer, is very proud of all the progress Aiden has made this year, and shared the following with us:

Thousands of students and teachers have been using Read Live in a distance-learning model with great success—and Read Live has continued to improve to meet their needs. We have made several enhancements to support Read Live’s use in a distance-learning model. Check out our distance-learning videos to see these new features in action!
