Creating RN Live Reports

Read Naturally Live reports provide important information to help you monitor the progress of a student or a group of students. Available reports include:

Group Reports Student Reports
  • Student Passwords
  • Student Roster
  • Students At-a-Glance
  • Student Level Summary
  • Fluency Graph
  • Comprehension Graph
  • Retell Graph
  • Phonics Word List Graph
  • Story Details

The Students At-a-Glance report is used most often because it provides individual student data needed for checking initial placement and periodically monitoring progress. Use this report to quickly identify students who may not be placed correctly, who may not be making adequate progress in fluency and comprehension, or who may require more of a challenge. These students may require adjustments in their levels, goals, or story options.

  • Teachers can create reports for students for whom they are the lead teacher.
  • Account Administrators and School Coordinators can create reports for any student.

How to Generate a Report

  1. From the navigation menu, select Reports.

  2. Click the name of the report you wish to create.
  3. Sort and Filter the list of students to find the ones for whom you want to generate a report. You can also click the Search by Group menu on the upper right to quickly find students in one of your saved personal groups.
  4. Some reports involve only a single student. For example, you can generate a Story Details report for one student at a time. Do this by clicking the Generate button in the table for that student.

Other reports allow you to include multiple students. For those reports, select the list of students by clicking the boxes to the left of their names. Then click the Generate Report for Selected button at the top of the list.

  5. If necessary, select any additional reporting criteria required for the report you selected. (For example, choose the story involved, the dates for the report period, etc.).

  6. Click Generate Report.
