RFBA: Setting user permissions for Windows network installations

When you are using the RFBA network version, the Windows user names for the client workstations must have the "modify" permission for the RFBA program directory.

To give your user name the necessary permissions for the RFBA directory:
  1. Open the folder My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files.
  2. Right-click RFBA, and choose Properties.
  3. Choose the Security tab.
  4. In the Group or User Names list, choose your user name or group.
  5. Check the Allow box for Modify and click OK.

Note: If you do not see your user name listed on the Security tab, you may not have permission to change your own security settings. Either log in to the computer as a Windows administrator or contact the Windows administrator to give your user name modify permission for the RFBA directory.
