Here are some basics for getting around in Read Live once you have logged in from the Staff Member Login page.

To move between pages:
  • In the page heading, click the Home icon. Then, on the Home page, click the tile for the area in which you want to work.
  • In the page heading, click the Navigation menu to open it. Then click the menu item for the area in which you want to work.
To sort lists:
  • In the list, click the text in a column heading to sort the table by that column. Clicking again sorts the list in the opposite direction.
To filter tables:

On a page that has a list of students, staff members, etc., you can filter the list to show just the ones with which you want to work. For example, you may want to work with students from one particular school, or from one particular homeroom.

  1. In the table, click the filter icon in the heading for the column you wish to filter.  
  2. In the filter menu, select the type of filter you want to complete (Contains, Does not contain, etc.).
  3. Type the text to use with the filter.
  4. Click Apply Filter.
  5. Click outside the filter menu to dismiss it.

To clear a filter:

  1. Click the filter icon. 
  2. Click Clear Filter.
