Read Naturally SE 2.0.3a Patch
for Stand-Alone & Client Software

This page provides information about the 2.0.3a patch for Read Naturally Software Edition version 2.0.3.

About the Update

The 2.0.3a patch fixes font display issues with stories that contain words in italics. This patch repairs SE 2.0.3 installations where italicized words display larger than normal and all subsequent words are large and bold.

Regardless of whether you have one of the affected levels installed, we recommend that you install the SE 2.0.3a update on all stand-alone and client workstations. This will avoid problems if you purchase and install one of the affected levels in the future.

There are three versions of the update—one for Windows, one for Mac OS X, and one for Mac OS 9. The installation files will patch stand-alone computers as well as client workstations in network installations.

Before You Begin

The installation files only update SE 2.0.3 client and stand-alone software. Before you install the SE v2.0.3a patch, make sure your SE stand-alone software or SE client software (network installations) is at SE v2.0.3.

To check your SE software version, choose About Read Naturally from the Help menu. If the version is 2.0.3, you can install the 2.0.3a patch. If you have an earlier version of SE (e.g., SE version 2.0.2), you must update SE to version 2.0.3 before you can install the SE 2.0.3a patch.
