Unable to print all graphs in reports (Mac OS X)
Operating System: Mac OS 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.x with Safari 3.0.4 or later
SE Versions: SE 2.0.x, SE 2.1.x
Symptoms:
When you print reports, not all of the graphs appear in the printed output.
Workarounds:
- There currently is no direct solution for this problem. It appears that it was introduced with a recent security update from Apple Inc. This update included a Safari v3.0.4 update, and that is the source of the problem. If you are able to find an older version of Safari or have access to another browser such as Internet Explorer, then you should be able to print the graphs correctly.
- We have found that only the graphs that appear on the screen (in the browser window) actually print. So once the report displayed in Safari, you could scroll down so that two graphs appear in the browser window (do not worry about text), click the Print This Report link (or press Command+P), click Preview, make sure that two graphs appear in the preview, change the number of pages from All to From: 1 to 2, and click Print. For the last graph, repeat the process, scrolling down so that the last graph appears in the browser window and this time printing only page 3. This is a little more work, but saves paper.
