SE v2.1.3 Network Plus database utilities need to be updated (Windows)
Note: If you downloaded the SE v2.1.3 Network Plus update after 10/5/2009, you do not need to install new database utilities — as of 10/5/2009, the new database utilities are included in the SE software update.

SE Version: SE v2.1.3 Network Plus
Symptoms: The manual and scheduled backup features do not work in the original database utilities for the Windows version of SE Network Plus v2.1.3. This applies to both SE district-server licenses and SE school-server licenses.
Solution:
You must download a new database utilities program by performing these steps:
- Click one of the following links to download a new database utilities program:
- School-server license: rnse_DBUtilities_sv1.1.3.4.zip
- District-server license: rnse_DBUtilities_dv1.1.3.4.zip
- Unzip the file and replace the existing database utilities file with the new one. The default location is \Program Files\RNSENetworkPlus\RNSEServer\ and the file name is either rnse_DBUtilities_d (district server) or rnse_DBUtilities_s (school server).
- Start the new database utilities program, log in, and verify that it creates a backup file that is greater than 1 KB in size.
- Set up scheduled backups. Backing up your data regularly is the most reliable way to ensure that you can recover data if problems occur.
