Using Read Naturally SE v2.0.x on Wireless LANs

Although IEEE 802.11 wireless local area networks (LANs) share some similarities with Ethernet (wired) LANs, they are not the same. For example, clients on wireless LANs are not guaranteed to always connect with each other, there is a considerably higher bit error rate (consequently, data is more susceptible to corruption), and data transmission is potentially much slower compared to wired LANs.

Read Naturally Network Plus software requires consistent data throughput with a minimum of data corruption during transmission between the client software and the database residing on the server. Read Naturally does not support or recommend implementing SE v2.0.x network software in a wireless LAN environment. We anticipate a significant number of problems with the use of SE 2.0.x in anything other than a wired LAN environment.
