Unable to create reports due to permissions error
Symptoms: You are unable to generate reports in Read Naturally SE and receive an error message that says that you do not have the necessary permissions.
Probable Cause: Your permissions may have changed for the folders that SE uses when generating reports.
Solution for Windows Client Workstations:
Make sure that Authenticated Users have Modify permissions for the following folders and their contents:
C:\Program Files\Read Naturally SE 2 (ideally this folder and all of its contents)
C:\Program Files\Read Naturally SE 2\Data\PrintResults
C:\Program Files\Read Naturally SE 2\Data\Reports
(To view permissions in Windows, right-click a file or folder and choose Properties, then choose the Security tab.)
Solution for Macintosh Client Workstations:
Log in as the owner of the Applications/Read Naturally SE2 folder, and make sure that the permissions for Others is set to Read & Write for the following folders and their contents:
Applications/Read Naturally SE 2 (ideally this folder and all of its contents)
Applications/Read Naturally SE 2/Data/PrintResults
Applications/Read Naturally SE 2/Data/Reports
(To view permissions in Mac OS, select the folder and choose Get Info from the Finder's File menu. Expand Ownership & Permissions and Details if necessary.)
