How to set user permissions for Windows network installations
When you are using the SE 2 network version, the Windows user names for the client workstations must have the "modify" permission for the Read Naturally SE 2 program directory.
To give your user name the necessary permissions for the Read Naturally SE directory:
- Open the folder My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files.
- Right-click Read Naturally SE 2 (for SE 2.0) or Read Naturally Client (for SE 2.1) and choose Properties.
- Choose the Security tab.
- In the Group or User Names list, choose your user name or group.
- Check the Allow box for Modify and click OK.
Note: If you do not see your user name listed on the
Security tab, you may not have permission to change your own security
settings. Either log in to the computer as a Windows administrator or
contact the Windows administrator to give your user name modify permission for the Read Naturally SE 2 directory.
