I can see students in Teacher Management, but the students are not able to log in to Student Stories.

Try these possible solutions:

  • If your SE version is earlier than SE 1.6.1, download and run the free SE update. See the SE v1.6 update page for the instructions for installing the update.
  • Download and run the SE v1.6 data repair utility from the SE v1.6 utilities page. Make sure you download the correct file for your server operating system. (If your server is a Novell Netware server, use the Windows version.) Be sure to back up your data folder before running the utility.
  • Search for and open the RNInst0612 file on your workstation with a text editor such as Notepad. Make sure the path specified in the file has the same drive letter that is mapped on your Windows workstation or the same drive mounted on your Macintosh workstation. The RNInst0612 file is also in the RN Server folder on your server computer. For Windows computers, the drive letter in the RNInst0612 file and the mapped drive on your workstation must match the drive letter specified in the RNInst0612 file on your server.
