On a Macintosh computer, why do I get out-of-memory errors when I run the Teacher Management or Student Stories application?
The amount of memory allocated to the application is set too low. To increase the amount of memory:
- Open the Read Naturally folder on the Macintosh workstation.
- Click once on the Teacher Management icon to select the program, and then choose File, Get Info, and then Memory.
- In the Memory settings window, click in the box on the bottom that says Preferred Memory. Increase this number if you have sufficient memory installed on the workstation.
- You may also need to turn on virtual memory.
- Close the window. Your new settings are saved.
Repeat these steps for the Student Stories application.
