Introducing SE Network Plus

An exciting new version of Read Naturally Software Edition is now available. Highlights of the new SE Network Plus (version 2.1) include:

The ability to centrally manage software data and licenses across a school district.
A more robust database platform that will provide greater performance and an enhanced experience.
An improved placement program to help you more efficiently assign levels and WCPM goals.
Support for the American Manners & Customs levels and Idioms levels.
Support for Spanish levels (when released in 2008).
The ability to import data from previous versions of SE (v1.6 and 2.0) as well as from comma-delimited text files.

Server Options

Two types of server licenses are available for SE Network Plus:

District Server License	$1000.00/district
A district server license simplifies the installation and management of SE software in school districts where SE is used across multiple schools. With a district license, the stories as well as student, teacher, and class data are stored on a district server, making it possible for students, teachers, and administrators to work from any computer in a school district that is connected to the server. A district usage report shows usage and summary data by school and district. Other reports show results by groups of a teacher’s students and by individual students.
School Server License	$200.00/school
With a school server license, the stories as well as student, teacher, and class data are stored on a school server, making it possible for students, teachers, and administrators to work from any computer in a school that is connected to the server. Reports show results by groups of a teacher’s students and by individual students.

The story levels contain the curriculum that students work with. New with SE Network Plus, story levels are purchased separately from the server software. Story levels are licensed on a per-school basis. See the SE Network Plus order page for a list of the levels available.
Sequenced Series	$299.00/level/school
The Sequenced Series uses the principles of the Read Naturally strategy to develop fluency and promote vocabulary and comprehension development. Each level in the series includes 24 high-interest nonfiction stories.
Phonics Series	$299.00/level/school
The Phonics Series uses the principles of the Read Naturally strategy to develop fluency and phonics. The phonics levels feature stories and word lists that give students practice with particular sounds. Each level in the series includes 24 high-interest nonfiction stories.
Spanish Series	$299.00/level/school
The Spanish Series stories are largely word-for-word translations of the corresponding stories in the Sequenced Series. Spanish-speaking students can work though a level in Spanish, becoming familiar with the content of the stories before working through the same level in English.
American Manners & Customs Series	$199.00/level/school
This series helps readers improve their reading fluency while learning about American manners and customs.
Idioms Series	$199.00/level/school
This series helps readers improve their reading fluency while also learning idioms that native English speakers may take for granted.
