Curriculum Options for ELL Students
The core focus of Read Naturally's programs is developing fluency, but three of the Software Edition curriculum options have extra features that can benefit English language learner (ELL) students. These curricula are available for both SE Stand-Alone and SE Network Plus.
Spanish Series
24 stories per level
The stories in this series are translations of the corresponding stories in the English-language Sequenced Series curriculum. The Spanish Series enables native Spanish speakers to read along with a story in Spanish first, to gain an understanding of the story content and vocabulary, before working through the same story in English to build fluency. Another way is to use these levels is to bring Spanish-speaking students to grade-level in Spanish before focusing on English.

This series is specially designed to help readers improve their reading fluency while also learning about American manners and customs that may not be familiar to people who have not always lived in the United States. Each level includes extra vocabulary features such as comprehension questions focusing on vocabulary.
