How It Works
You place students and record student data on a stand-alone Windows or Macintosh computer. Once the data is stored in Decision Assistant, you can generate reports to help you monitor students' progress and make decisions about adjusting their levels and goals. The student reports are helpful for communicating with other teachers and with parents.
Decision Assistant is stand-alone software. That is, the software runs locally on an individual Macintosh or Windows computer. Since student, teacher, and class data is stored locally on that computer, you must always enter all of the data on the same computer so that they are all available together for viewing and reporting.
