Read Live version 1.9 includes the following changes.

Enhancements and Features

• New Curriculum:  This version introduces the Idioms curriculum on levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5.  The Idioms series uses the Read Naturally strategy with stories and activities focused on teaching common American Idioms, such as “sitting pretty,” “get the ball rolling,” and “walking on air.”  Each level includes 12 stories that teach two to three idioms apiece.
• Importing Enhancement:  Also in this version, we’ve made Improvements that enable schools to update existing student information via the import process.  In previous versions, schools were not able to import a student who was already enrolled.  Now, the import feature enables schools to update an already-enrolled student’s school, student ID, grade, password, and parent/guardian information.   In addition, school administrators now have access to the import feature.
• We’ve fixed miscellaneous problems discovered since the previous release.

System Requirements Changes

Some of Read Live’s minimum software requirements have changed in this release.  The following are the changed items. 

• Mac OS X 10.7 and higher
• Mozilla Firefox versions 14 and higher
• Apple Safari versions 6 and higher (Mac OS only)
• Adobe Reader versions 11 and higher

Read Naturally Live iPad App

IMPORTANT:  If you are using the Read Naturally Live iPad app, you should upgrade to the latest version (2.3) as soon as possible to take advantage of the new Idioms curriculum and to get fixes to miscellaneous problems discovered since the previous release.
