Do you have any suggestions for keeping students from taping over cassettes and losing the batteries for tape recorders?
Many teachers find that numbering tape recorders and assigning them to the students helps them to take care of the equipment. You may also want to design a check-out program for the cassettes. Although the cassettes have tabs punched out to prevent recording over, students have been known to cover the holes or find other ways to get around the precautions we've taken. Also, Read Naturally does offer tape players that have no record button.
