Invest in Your Students With Stimulus Funds
The 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA, the federal stimulus plan) includes new education funding to be distributed through the Title I, Title II-D, and IDEA (special education) programs, among others. Among the focuses of the stimulus funding are educational technology, using data to improve teaching and learning, and professional development.
Many of Read Naturally’s reading assessments, reading intervention programs, and professional development options are good choices for this funding, which favors one-time investments over subscription-based programs.
The following table shows what funding is available and how Read Naturally's programs, tools, and professional development align with the various federal funding categories.
