New Software Makes Progress Tracking and
Analysis Easy for Masters Edition Customers
Read Naturally now offers Read Naturally ME Decision Assistant, a software tool that extends some of the powerful record-keeping, placement, and reporting features of Read Naturally Software Edition to schools with Masters Edition programs.
The new ME Decision Assistant software enables you to record story data for Masters Edition students on stand-alone Windows or Macintosh computers.
Once the data is stored in ME Decision Assistant, you can generate reports to help you monitor students’ progress and determine when to intervene by providing extra coaching or adjusting levels and goals. The student reports can also be very helpful for parent-teacher conferences.
With ME Decision Assistant, teachers can continue to use the same proven Read Naturally Masters Edition materials and strategy as they always have, but take advantage of the benefits and functionality of computers. ME Decision Assistant offers the following key features:
- Extensive reports that track students’ progress and help you to determine when students need coaching or changes to their program.
- A newly developed placement program that automates the process of determining what curriculum level and goal are right for each student.
- The ability to store student information, including students’ names, grades, goals, and levels, plus the teachers and classes to which they are assigned.
- The ability to store students’ results from working in Read Naturally ME stories, including their results from the cold timing, practice, hot timing, quiz, retell, and word list steps.
- The ability to print letters and awards for communicating with parents.
