Read Live includes four highly effective instructional programs designed to deliver measurable results for struggling and developing readers of all ages. We recently recorded five new webinars, providing an overview of Read Live as well as the basics for each of the four programs: Read Naturally Live, Word Warm-ups Live, One Minute Reader Live, and Read Naturally Live—Español. Check out these 30-minute presentations for a better understanding of Read Live and additional details on each of the four instructional programs.

Analia has worked her way to grade level reading this year. Analia is a 6th-grade student at Tenney Grammar School in Methuen, MA. Analia comes to class everyday ready to challenge herself and make the most of every minute. Analia may not be the fastest worker in her class but her consistent commitment to work is paying off. Here is what her teacher, Judy Rossi shared with us about Analia's reading success.

The school-to-home connection is more important than ever. The need for distance learning over the past year has created challenges for teachers, parents, and students. And, as the school year ends, we don’t want our learners to experience a “summer slide.” By having parents as partners, students who have been working in Read Live at school can have more support and continuity in their instruction. We want to share some tools and resources to help your students take advantage of reading opportunities with Read Live, even during the summer months, from home.

Developing readers need more than just books to build critical literacy skills. One Minute Reader Live transforms independent reading time into an exciting, guided reading experience. Utilizing the research-based Read Naturally Strategy in a fully independent and motivating system, One Minute Reader Live helps students develop fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary skills, and build confidence as learners.

A free, self-paced online course is now available for One Minute Reader, the newly released independent reading program included with Read Live.

Over the past year, we’ve added three new curriculum options and developed several new features to better support distance learning with Read Live. We’ve also updated content, added support for Google (G Suite) for Education, and developed more resources for training and support. Read Live is better than ever!

A Student's Guide to One Minute Reader Live combines detailed training videos with hands-on activities covering all the steps of the program. Each video in the series demonstrates a different set of steps. After watching the student narrator demonstrate the process, students log into their first One Minute Reader Live story and complete the steps themselves, imitating what was just demonstrated.

Read Naturally's March Star of the Month is Landon H. from Lisbon, NY. Landon is a third-grader at Lisbon Central School, where he works with Ms. Richardson in Read Live. Since returning from distance learning, Landon has made great strides in his reading. His attention to detail and motivation to continually do better often earns him all five ribbons on his Read Naturally Live stories.

Our popular student training videos are now available in Spanish! Teach your students how to do the steps of Read Naturally Live—Español with this new video series.

The latest Read Live update includes even more improvements to help support Read Live users implementing the program in a hybrid or distance-learning module. We’ve added more detailed information to the Waiting List, enabled account and student-level controls for the recording features, and created a new Team feature.
